Drone Flight Techniques for Artists

Explore flight pattern methods for gathering visuals using a drone. Artist Laura Millard will help you identify ways to get the types of shots you need for your projects.

In this workshop, participants will review the aesthetics of flight-based drone art, learn basic drone flight safety, and learn a number of drone flight techniques in both indoor and outdoor settings. Advanced techniques will be demonstrated by the instructors. The workshop includes both discussion and hands-on drone flight in small groups.
