Studio Membership provides artists with 24/7 access to our studio space, on-site tools and workspaces, access to equipment-specific training, and other perks including discounted rates for our public workshops and equipment rentals.
InterAccess is currently accepting applications for new studio members.

Annual Studio Membership
Supported Rate: $300/year ($25/month)
Standard Rate: $400/year ($33.33/month)
Sustaining Rate: $500/year ($41.66/month)
Annual Studio Memberships encourage members to make full use of InterAccess’s studio space, equipment, and facilities, and to become part of an exciting community of artists, makers, and designers. With this membership, you receive:
- Inclusion within a supportive community of new media artists
- 24/7 access to shared studio with WiFi
- Access to specialized equipment
- Invitations to member community and programming events
- Equipment-specific training
- Small storage locker (subject to availability; upgrade to large locker for an additional fee)
- Discounted rates for workshops
- Discounted rates for equipment rentals
- Membership in the IMAA Network
- Voting Rights at Annual AGM (pending board approval)
Submit Studio Member Expression of Interest
Annual Studio Memberships begin on the first of the month. Those joining mid-month can pay a prorated fee for the remainder of the current month.
Monthly Studio Membership
Supported Rate: $50/month
Standard Rate: $60/month
Sustaining Rate: $70/month
Monthly Studio Memberships are intended for those working on short-term projects who are looking to access the studio and equipment for a limited time. With this membership, you receive:
- Inclusion within a supportive community of new media artists
- 24/7 access to shared studio with WiFi
- Access to specialized equipment
- Invitations to member community and programming events
- Access to equipment-specific training (subject to additional fees)
- Access to on-site storage locker (for an additional fee)

Voting Membership
$50/year
Want to support new media art and help make InterAccess programming possible? Attend our Annual General Meeting and get a say in the development of the studio and gallery. Responsibilities and benefits include:
- Invitation, participation, and voting rights at InterAccess’s Annual General Meeting and Special Members' Meetings - includes approving the annual audit and financial statements, electing the Board of Directors, and electing the auditor
- Invitations to member community and programming events
- Access to community Discord channel that includes external programming, promotion, and job opportunities circulated among Members
- Paid and unpaid consultation opportunities to contribute feedback on InterAccess's programs - studio, exhibition, education, community
- An invested stake in the health of our treasured new media arts organization
Applications are reviewed by InterAccess's Voting Membership Committee ahead of regularly scheduled monthly Board Meetings.
This membership does not include access to the production studio.
Submit Voting Member Expression of Interest
After the InterAccess Board of Directors has approved your application you will be contacted by InterAccess staff with next steps for paying the required annual fee to become a Voting Member. Annual Studio Members in good standing will have their fee waived.
On-site Storage Lockers
All Studio Members also have access to our on-site lockers. Lockers are subject to availability. Members can email education@interaccess.org to book a locker. Lockers are available for the following rates:
Small Lockers (12” x 10” x 16”)
- Included for Annual Studio Members
- $5/month for Monthly Studio Members
Large Lockers (12” x 35” x 16”)
- $60/year for Annual Studio Members
- $10/month for Monthly Studio Members
