Statement of Solidarity

InterAccess stands in solidarity with the Black community fighting against white supremacy, systemic racism, and anti-Blackness. It is urgent that we all unite to educate ourselves and make actionable plans to fight systemic racism and white supremacy.

InterAccess is committed to equity. We have done a lot of work in the last three years to measurably improve access to our services and increase the representation of Black artists, Indigenous artists, and artists of colour in our programming. We have more work to do. We are committed to deepening our efforts to improve the diversity, inclusion, and equity in our programming and workplace.

As we undertake this work as an organization, we are also asking the non-Black members of our community and audiences to engage in anti-racist, self-education work. We have included some resources below.

Black Lives Matter.

'Shareable Anti-Racism Resources Guide' by Tasha K. Ryals

'Anti-Racism Resources For White People' Compiled by Sarah Sophie Flicker and Alyssa Klein in May 2020

'Anti-racism Pro-Black resources for white/nonblack allies'
