Basic Electronics, the Body and Squishy Futures
This workshop explores basic electronics in the context of the body. We will create basic circuits and switches that facilitate and explore a variety of interactions. This exploratory workshop requires no experience with electronics, and serves as a departure point for considering how cybernetics, materials, and the future of electronics will unfold.

About the Instructor: Lee Wilkins is an artist and technologist currently based in Toronto, Canada. They are a cyborg researcher PhD student at the University of Toronto. Lee is a lecturer at OCAD University's Digital Futures program, and Ryerson University's School of Fashion. Their work focuses on imagining the material construction of the future, and their art consists largely of whimsical robotics. http://leecyb.org
