How to Propose an InterAccess Workshop — Info session
InterAccess is seeking workshop proposals from members of the art and technology communities. In recent years, our workshops have focused on building skills in contemporary new media art techniques including electronics, robotics, microcontrollers, and creative coding. InterAccess aims to offer educational programming that is timely, relevant, comprehensive, and delivered by excellent instructors.
In this info session, learn how to prepare proposals for workshops and community events at InterAccess. We’ll cover IA’s mandate, normal workshop and community event formats, curriculum scoping, material needs, and more. Bring a workshop idea and leave with a proposal!

Registration: FREE - RSVP to education@interaccess.org to reserve your spot.
What to bring: A notebook and pen
About the Instructor: Galen Macdonald is an artist, poet, teacher, and organizer based in Toronto. He builds small interactive objects, makes code poems, and teaches experimental workshops with electronics, computers, and Petri dishes. He has spent a lot of time working in community-facing maker spaces and shops, developing curriculum, teaching, and maintaining shared work spaces. In that time he has come to love the relationship human beings can form with tools, and with each other through tools.
