3D Scanning/Modelling/Printing (Series)

In this workshop series, participants will follow the workflow of 3D scanning an object, manipulating the model, exporting the files and printing the object on a 3D printer. Participants will work with the NextEngine 3D scanner and Ultimaker 2 printers.  What would Warhol make?

Dates: Tuesday October 20 & 27, 2015.

Time: 7-10pm

Registration Fee: $90 (Members); $120 (Non-Members)

Material Fee: None.

What, if any, prerequisite knowledge should students have? Experience in any 3D modeling software is beneficial. Experience using Rhino is an asset.

What materials/equipment should students bring? A laptop.

Required Software: You must install Rhino for this workshop.  Note that the trial version of Rhino is only good for 30 days.  Do not install it until just before the workshop.

About the Instructor: Dante Nocera enjoys many facets of design, and takes knowledge from many different areas to then apply to the 3-D world. Dante is the 3D Studio Technician at InterAccess, and is an all-round swell guy.
