About the Instructors: foci + loci evolved through Tamara Yadao and Chris Burke's fascination with the malleability of virtual space paired with an interest in electroacoustic improvisation. Treating the map editors in off-the-shelf video games as virtual sound stages, foci + loci design immersive, electroacoustic spaces that can be “played” in live performance.
