Registration Fee: FREE Annual Member | $25 Monthly/Non-Member
This hands-on training session will introduce members to the MSLA (Resin) 3D Printing process available in the InterAccess studio.
In this 3-hour session, participants will learn:
- How to operate the MSLA 3D printer properly and safely
- Design considerations for MSLA printing vs. FDM printing
- Post-processing for resin prints using the curing and washing machine
- Best practices for resin handling and health and safety considerations
Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptops with the latest version of Prusa Slicer downloaded.
Those without 3D printing experience are also encouraged to take the 3D Printing (FDM) Tool Training (offered on the same day, from 11AM-2PM) for foundational 3D printing concepts.
Tool Training sessions are designed for InterAccess members to learn how to operate the studio equipment safely and independently. These sessions are available at no cost to Annual Studio Members. Monthly members and non-members, including those considering membership in the future and those looking to access equipment during Open Studio, can register to receive this training for a $25 fee.
After this training, members will be approved to use the Prusa SL1 3D printer and Prusa CW1 curing and washing machine.
