Making+Publishing Net Art
Due to a high number of requests, this session will build upon the “Intro to Net Art” workshop where participants were introduced to creative coding through the p5.js library.
Leon Lu will go over the fundamentals of web development introducing you to HTML, CSS and JavaScript workflows, while also going over how to publish your web page on the internet for free using a Github repository. For this workshop, you should first go over the content of the first workshop (available here) and have a piece of interactive art created using p5.js that you’d like to see published on the internet.
You will need access to:
- A computer with an internet connection
- Sublime Text Editor (https://www.sublimetext.com/)
- Github Desktop (https://desktop.github.com/)
- Google Chrome as your Internet Browser
